Weilworks Gallery | 3611 Chestnut Pl | Painted Picados by Tracy Weil
Inspired by Mexican folk art this new series of oil paintings will explore the imagery used on 'picados.' These traditional paper cut outs often tell stories of celebration and special occasions. For this new series Weil has created new oil paintings that mimic this style with his own iconography. Opening Reception Friday, Nov. 6th, 6-9pm. Open by Appointment through Dec. 6th.

Longtime Ironton artist Andy Sweet retires his use of stone and steel with this last show of sculptural work entitled ESSENCE.

“Brine,” an experimental film where footage from a post WWII industrial hog farm is altered by hand with the natural processes of fermentation, brined and cold smoked to create this meditative non-narrative film short.
