Davis Partnership Architects | 2901 Blake St, Suite #100 | Open First Friday featuring Bobby MaGee Lopez: "The Great Architect is my first solo art show in three years. I am using traditional construction materials and design concepts to broaden the metaphor of the architect. The opening show will be juxtaposed with my most recent Denver murals at Davis Partnership. The closing show—where I will present more new work—will be held on Final Friday, Sept. 30."

Topo Designs | 2500 Larimer St. Unit 102 | Open First Friday featuring the artwork of Adam Ambro. Inspired by the urban landscape, Adam’s work looks to find beauty in less than obvious places. Beginning with a recycled canvas of newpaper, layers of pen, marker and whatever else happens to be within arm’s reach are added. The end result is a highly textured interpretation of some of the world’s most iconic adventure mobiles.

Open First Friday featuring Donna Elich “Observing flowers and their visitors inspires me to look close at their lines, shapes and colors. Then I look even closer and try to imagine what it would be like to be the size of an insect inside the flower. Some of my paintings appear to be more abstract, but in fact, they are a closer examination of detail.”

Pattern Shop Studio | 3349 Blake St | The Pattern Shop Studio is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the RiNo neighborhood with an exhibit called “Pattern Makers” featuring five artists known for their use of geometric or organic patterns in their paintings and ceramics: Susan Blake, Marty Jaquis, Jerry Johnson, Jonathan Kaplan, and Annalee Schorr.
The show opens on First Friday, September 2nd from 6-9pm.
